I needed them to come out twice, because the leak on my roof was a bit tricky to repair and the first attempt was not entirely successful. There was no charge for the extra visit, and it was handled very professionally. The leaks are now sealed.

For people reading this in future months: our leaking roof happened during the Covid19 situation. It was so great to find a profesional and responsive company. They assessed and gave a quote within a day. Two days later entire roof work was done. All business was done through email, phone calls and text. They even checked in to see if everything was ok days after work was done. It has been a couple of weeks now and has already rained heavily... No leaks!! Finally!!! During Covid19 it was great to have “contactless” service that was reliable. I highly recommend them!

Highly professional. Very pleasant

I usually do not write reviews, but I was compelled to write of my impression of Thomas James Roofing. Mr. James and his son Tommy were working on a neighbor's roof, (house is attached to neighbor) and they noticed that there was some bubbling and blistering on my roof’s surface. Mr. James and son rang my doorbell to ask if I was aware of this potential problem. I told them that I was not. They explained how this can soon be an expensive and costly repair to the wooden surface under the roof.

I looked at my previous warranty and it was literally expired that same month that we were discussing this issue. We discussed a price and agreed on an amount that was much more than fair. They also redid the roof over the back and front porch with top of the line (Firestone) roofing materials.

Mr. James and his son Tommy provided quality service and were very professional. It is very difficult to find contractors who actually live up to what they say that they will do.I can safely say this being a homeowner for over 45 years and seeing many contractors who appear to be experts, yet ultimately are completely incompetent. I have waited over two months to post this review, because I wanted to be sure that the work they had provided would withstand heavy rains, and it has. So far we have had about three hard downpours in our area that were consistent. Thankfully there were no problems, and Mr. James has provided a lengthy guarantee to back up his work, and provide me with a piece of mind.

I'm very satisfied with the work done by Thomas James Roofing and Waterproofing. I called them when my regular contractor went out of business, and I am very happy with the work they did. They did a nice job on my gutters, and pointing on my old chimney and fixing some damage to trim from windstorms. Importantly, the clean up was perfect. The price was very fair. I intend to use them again for some waterproofing I need. I highly recommend this company.
